I like writing my 1’s like that too. Just because I’m convinced that my handwriting should look like the Helvetica typeface.

When learning German, my teacher mentioned this was how Germans write the number 1. I had the BIGGEST smile in the movie theater knowing this fact when I saw the movie. I’m weird like that.

I love random facts like that. I think it’s a European thing. 

Oh, I’m German, and I didn’t even know it’s a special German thing o_O But I don’t always write it like that.
